Our Aluminium Coated Self-Wrapping Fibreglass Sleeving is constructed from aluminium foil; lined with fibreglass and polyester. This side entry sleeve is ideal for protecting wire bundles, hoses, pipes, tubing, and similar components. Its 25% self-adhesive overlap, self-closing design, allows for quick and easy installation over existing cable harnesses.
It provides outstanding heat insulation, radiant heat protection, and high-temperature resistance, as well as excellent resistance to oil and corrosion. The fiberglass surface reflects over 95% of radiant heat, helping keep cables, hoses, and wires cool.
Supplied by the metre, this sleeving is widely used in automotive wiring harnesses and other high-voltage, high-temperature environments.
Simply place the sleeving around the desired hose or cables, peel off the protective film and attach the adhesive to the wrap. Easily cut with a pair of scissors to desired length.
