Our Multi Cable and Wire Stripper No 400 is a versatile little tool for stripping various cables and wires. This multifunctional wire stripper features several different functions explored in a little more detail below.

Strip 8mm to 13mm Diameter Cables with the Main Blades.

The blades at the front of the No. 400 Multi-Stripper are used for stripping the insulation on all common round cables between 8–13 mm Ø (e.g. NYM 3 x 1,5mm² up to 5 x 2,5mm²).
The placement of this front blade makes flush stripping cables in limited space easier. This can be especially useful for those of you who work with cables in ceilings, walls or switch cabinets.

Meanwhile, the blade just past the dedicated small wire stripping points can perform longitudinal cutting of cable insulation.

Strip Small Wires.

Our Multi-Stripper 400 also has six slotted blades for stripping small cables and wires. Located towards the front, these stripping points are designed for the following sizes:

Cutting Blades for Cables Up To 6mm².

At the rear of the tool (near the hinge and lock) you’ll find a built-in cable cutting blade. This can easily slice through flexible conductor cables up to 6mm² and solid conductors up to 4mm².
