Our Metal Detectable Blue Silicone Rubber Sheet is a premium-grade, food-contact approved elastomer designed specifically for hygiene-critical processing environments. With a service temperature range extending from -60°C to +250°C, and intermittent capability above this, it maintains its elasticity, dimensional stability and sealing integrity in hot, cold or rapidly cycling environments.

Its 60 Shore A medium hardness balances flexibility with mechanical strength, providing excellent tear resistance, rebound resilience and long-term compression-set resistance. The fully vulcanised, closed-cell-free structure also ensures extremely low permeability and minimal moisture absorption — ideal for wash-down and sanitisation-heavy facilities.

The sheet is odourless, tasteless, non-toxic and chemically inert, offering outstanding resistance to oils, cleaning chemicals, CIP/SIP sterilisation, UV and ozone. This makes it suitable for continuous contact with food products, powders, liquids and pharmaceutical ingredients without degradation or leaching.

All are available online by the metre (1200mm wide). Maximum roll length is 10 metres for the 3mm and 6mm. For the 10mm thick full rolls are 5 metres long.
