Klingersil C4430 Flange Gaskets are widely used for medium temperature and medium pressure sealing. These gaskets are produced in our Australian facilities to suit the size requirements of BS 3063 Table D and/or Table E Flanges.

Flange Gaskets to Suit BS 3063 Size Info.

The gaskets featured on this page are all cut to suit BS 3063 Flanges in either Table D or Table E configurations (the two most common). In some pipe nominal bores (e.g. 15NB, 80NB) there’s no difference in gasket size between Table D or Table E (the gasket fits both). In others, there are differences in number of holes or hole diameter.

Where there are differences between Table D and Table E; both are offered. Where there are no differences, a single gasket is listed here which will suit both. The sizing tables below provide more information on which nominal bores use the same gasket and which require their own size.

All the gaskets listed on this page are Full Face gaskets. These are so-named because they take up the full flange face and cover the bolt holes. Both ring and full-face gaskets can be used on these flanges depending on particular requirements and user preferences.

C4430 Pipe Flange Gaskets Information.

Gaskets made from C4430 exhibit good all-round sealing capabilities and compatibility with a wide range of fluids and media. Performance characteristics include:

Good Pressure and Temperature Resistance.

Maximum operating temperature and pressure are highly dependent on one another, and the medium being sealed. That said, a rough guideline for this material is:

Temperature: +200°C Continuous / +400°C Maximum for very short periods.

Pressure: 100 BAR

We really do suggest utilised the attached C4430 Data Sheet though as this includes pT diagrams showing the inter-relationship between maximum pressure and temperature.

Certified for Use in a Variety of Critical Sealing Applications.

Klingersil C4430 has been certified in accordance with a number of worldwide standards. These include:

  • Fire safe according to BS 5146.
  • BAM approval in accordance with UVV 28, oxygen( VGB 62) tested up to 100 bar and 85°C.
  • Approved for gas supply in accordance with DIN 3535/6. DIN - DVGW permit NG 5123AN0418.
  • Potable Water approval in accordance with WRS and AS4020.
  • TA Luft (Clean air) approval, tested in accordance with VDI 2440 at 250°C.

For more information on the various certifications and approvals bequeathed on this gasket sheet please refer to the attached C4430 Data Sheet for a full and comprehensive listing.
