Insulated Wire Stripper No. 6

Our Insulated Wire Stripper No. 6 is a high-quality tool manufactured in Germany. This automatic wire stripper has been subjected to routine testing according to regulation IEC 60900 of the German Association for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies VDE and approved for working on cables up to 1000 volts.

Our No 6 Stripper is designed for working with smaller wires and cables with a cross-section between 0.2mm² and 6mm². It works with all common flexible and solid conductors within this size range.

The tool itself is fast, simple and reliable thanks in part to its automatic scanning system. Simply insert the wire end into the “mouth” of the stripper and pull the trigger. It will scan the size and strip back just the insulation sheath leaving the conductor untouched.

Our number 6 stripper also has an adjustable length stop where you can set the amount of insulation you want to remove with each action. This can be set anywhere from 5mm to 12mm.

Like all our Weicon Cable Tools, our No. 6 Stripper is manufactured from high quality materials and is tough, robust and long-lasting. It is made in Germany from robust and ergonomically shaped glass fibre reinforced polyamide/ the durable blades consists of high-quality knife steel.

It is also VDE Tested in terms of occupational safety.
