What glue should I use to stick it down?

It depends a little on what surface area we’re talking about. If it’s small and really high strength adhesion is required, a super glue that is compatible with rubber, such as Weicon VA 8406 or Weicon VA 100 could be ideal. For larger areas, a sprayable adhesive or contact adhesive may be the answer.

We keep saying “may” for a reason though. It all depends on what you need to stick it to, temperature, desired cure time and so forth. There’s a really great tool called the Weicon Adhesive Finder (www.adhesive-finder.com) that may be able to assist .For further information and assistance please do not hesitate to contact us.

Does it come with an adhesive backing?

Not as standard no. It can be arranged on special request.

Are other colours available?

No, not of this particular grade.

Will you supply my order in one continuous length or multiple lengths?

We’ll always supply as long a roll as possible to give you maximum versatility (nothing worse than being just a little too short). Maximum roll length for all thicknesses listed here is 10 metres so if you ordered 8 of one size, it would be supplied in a single roll.

How can I cut this rubber?

You’ll be able to cut some of the thinner grades with scissors, up to about 3mm (depending on the scissors). Thicker strips are best cut with a box cutter (Stanley knife).
