Our Weicon Plastic Metal F2 is a high-quality grade of epoxy. This two-part compound is made from epoxy resin with aluminium filler and, once mixed, has a liquid, flowable consistency.

Plastic Metal F2 is typically used for repairs or coating on aluminium or other types of light metal. 

Once cured, it will have a glossy, aluminium grey appearance and set hard. Tensile strength is measured at 31 MPa and it will have a shore hardness of 77 Shore D.

Plastic Metal F2 has a fairly long pot life of around 60 minutes for a 500gm batch which will give you a good amount of time to apply. It will cure to 35% of its final strength after about 12 hours and be fully cured after about 72 hours (depending on environmental conditions).

This grade of plastic steel is completely non-corrosive and safe to use with aluminium, stainless and other kinds of metal. This epoxy compound is anti-magnetic and exhibits excellent electrical insulation properties.

Plastic metal F2 can be applied in layers up to 10mm in depth. After 12 hours of curing (per layer), additional layers can be applied if needed.

Easy to Use.

Weicon Plastic Metal F2 is a two-part epoxy. It has a mix ratio of 100:14 (resin / hardener). If using the whole kit at once though, there is no need for complex measuring as extra space has been left in the resin container for you to add the hardener and stir.
