Our Quadro Cable Stripper No. 16 is a high-performance cable and wire stripping tool with several features. This cable stripper and cutter can be used with a variety of different types of cables and combines precision wire stripping, longitudinal cutting into one tool.

Accurate, Automatic Cutting & Stripping of a Variety of Cable Sizes.

Our No. 16 Quadro Cable & Wire Stripper has two different parts to if for stripping cable. The first is the main longitudinal cutter and stripper.

This part works with all common round cables between 8mm Ø and 13mm Ø. The tool adjusts to the cable size automatically and cuts through only the insulation leave the underlying conductor or cables intact. Our Quadro No. 16 has been designed for optimum cable routing which makes longitudinal cutting fast and simple. It can also be used for circular cutting with ease.

Precision Stripping of Smaller Cables and Wires.

After dismantling or stripping the outer insulation of a multi-core cable, oftentimes the next job involves stripping the individual wires. Our Quadro Cable Stripper handles this task as well.

Built into the casing are a series of precision stripping holes that are used for stripping all flexible and solid conductors with the following cross sections:

• 0.5mm²
• 0.75mm²
• 1.5mm²
• 2.5mm²
• 4mm²
• 6mm²

Retractable Hook Blade that can be Locked into Multiple Positions.

Built into the housing of the No. 16 Quadro Cable & Wire Stripper is a retractable hook blade. Adding to the overall versatility of this tool, the hook blade can be locked into multiple positions using the easy to adjust locking mechanism.

Like the rest of the blades on this tool, the hook knife blade is manufactured from high quality German steel and is very long lasting. When it does wear, it can be easily replaced as needed.

German-Engineered Cable Stripper made from Quality Materials.

Our No. 16 Quadro Cable Stripper is manufactured by Weicon in Germany. This tool, like the rest of the Weicon Cable Tool Range, is manufactured using premium-grade materials and is designed to withstand the rigours of professional use.

The outer casing is produced from high strength, fibreglass reinforced polyamide while the knife blades are all made from steel from Solingen. All our Cable Tools are manufactured in Germany and are subjected to extensive testing to ensure quality and safety. As a final check, the Quadro No. 16 has also been safety tested and approved by TUV Nord.
