XT Silica Fibre Cloth is a premium, high-temperature insulation fabric woven from continuous filament silica yarns containing over 96% SiO₂. Designed for extreme thermal environments, it withstands continuous exposure up to 1000 °C and has a melting point of 1650 °C.
Lightweight, flexible and durable, this cloth provides reliable protection against heat, sparks, molten metal splash and thermal shock. Common applications include welding blankets, heat shields, equipment covers, pipe lagging and thermal curtains in industries such as power generation, metalworking, shipbuilding and manufacturing.
Easy to cut and fabricate with standard tools, XT Silica Cloth is asbestos-free, non-toxic and non-hazardous.

How long is a Full Roll?
Full rolls of our Silica Cloth XT are 50 Metres in length. This is the maximum number of metres we can supply in a single continuous length.
If I order 10 Metres, will I get 2 x 5 or 1 x 10mtr roll?
We will always supply in one continuous length whenever possible to maximise utility. The upper limit is 50 metres. Any order for less than this will be supplied in a continuous length.
